Commercial Pilot Training School
How to become a commercial pilot-
So you want to become a commercial pilot and need to obtain your CPL in order to get started with a professional pilot career, but do you know where to start? The first step is to become familiar with the entire process of becoming a commercial pilot and the requirements needed to obtain a CPL. The next step is to enroll yourself in an FAA approved accelerated flight school to start your commercial pilot license training. The next step is to work towards getting your private pilot license as this is the first pilot license you will need to receive to work towards the CPL requirements. After you have passed your PPL tests and obtained the minimum amount of flight hours needed to get your private pilot license, you will receive your FAA PPL pilot certificate and can immediately start working towards the 250 hours of flight training time and related pilot courses needed for a commercial pilot license. Most students that enroll with our FAA approved flight school graduate with their CPL in a matter of 6-8 months. Please keep in mind the pace at which you complete your commercial pilot training school predominately depends on the actions of the student.
Commercial pilot careers-
A commercial pilot is the first type of pilot license that allows a pilot to be able to work professionally as a paid pilot. A private pilot license only allows a pilot to be able to fly certain types of small airplanes and for recreational or charitable flights only. Commercial pilot licenses on the other hand allow CPL holders to be able to work certain types of pilot jobs to the likes of flying as a crop duster, flying private charter flights, working for corporations flying small jets( additional pilot courses required for more advanced aircraft), working as a certified flight instructor, etc. CPL pilots may not fly large jumbo jets for major airlines as this type of larger aircraft requires an a different type of pilot license known as the airline transport pilot license or ATP. The ATP certificate is the next step above a CPL and requires more in class pilot training along with at least 1500 hours of FAA required flight training time.
